A durable pair of binoculars that could be used for youth and adults alike expands the wildlife exploration possible at the Arboretum! We are hoping to fund several pairs in addition to an upcoming donation by Wild Birds Unlimited (Huber Heights/Springboro, OH).

A backpack filled with exploration tools for families to take on the trails, each themed for a different adventure. Support provided to our Explorer Backpacks would allow us to purchase new backpacks and nature education materials to go inside!

Tools for Invasive Removal

Who doesn't love a chainsaw? Bush-honeysuckle for one! Based on the impact these tools can make in the hands of our talented and hardworking volunteers, we hope to secure two new chainsaws for use clearing invasive plants at the Arboretum this year.

Adding trees to our already abundant forest is always a goal here at the Arboretum! Support towards specimen tree planting allows us to purchase 2.5"-3" caliper trees and provide initial care for them to thrive here at the Arboretum.

Maintaining a flourishing prairie ecosystem is important! From recycling nutrients to the soil to suppressing invasive woody plant growth, your support towards safe burn supplies means a healthier and hardier native prairie at the Arboretum.

As something often requested by our avid walkers, hikers, and bikers, your support towards this goal provides a place to stop, rest, and get back out on the trails.
