1985
 		 All-American Rose GardenThe Arboretum became a test site for All-American Rose Selection, Inc. (since moved to Glen Miller Park.)
1996 Hayes House Dining RoomHayes House chosen as Decorators Show House, first joint fundraiser with Richmond Art Museum.
1997 Fall Foliage DayFirst Fall Foliage Celebration
1999 Scenic OverlookScenic Overlook created thanks to a grant from Wayne County Foundation.
2000 Hayes MuseumHayes Museum opened; Butterfly House opened; Advisory Board formed.
2001 Ravine on Hayes Property3.5 acres on the east side gifted from the Fred McKinney family.
2001 Summer Class ParticipantBlakey Family donates 115-acre farm on the south side of Richmond.
2002 Turtle TownTurtle Town opened.
2003 Stamm Koechlin Family Foundations gives grant to aid in the creation of a tunnel to the east side property.
2006 S. W. Hayes Research Foundation sells 33 acres of land bordering U.S. 40 to rebuild the endowment.
