Indiana Phenology Workshop

Saturday, April 29th

10-12pm

Did you know you can  help scientists while you are out enjoying nature? Phenology is the science of the seasons and helps us understand how plant and animal life cycles are influenced by weather and climate. Come learn about Indiana Backyard Observing, a local citizen effort underway to document seasonal changes in plants and animals in Indiana. We'll talk about nature observation using a free tool called Nature's Notebook and cover everything you need to know to start observing phenology in your favorite outdoor spaces. We'll highlight a special opportunity for teachers to involve their students in the project.

Learn more about the Indiana Phenology organization.
